Spring 2008 Annual gathering
Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6



Why attend the MAUUA annual gathering?

v Visit with your friends from other Montana UU fellowships.
v Meet new UU friends.
v Enjoy the naturally warm pools, locally grown food and beautiful surroundings at Boulder Hot Springs.
v Share wisdom and insights with other UUs about making your congregation the best it can be.
v Participate in a Sunday service with a guest UU minister.

Rooms at Boulder Hot Springs are $100 a night for a bed & breakfast room (can be split among three people) or $80 for a regular guest room (two people can split a room).  You can also camp for $15.  All accommodations allow you unlimited access to the hot spring pools and showers.

The dinner buffet in the Boulder Hot Springs dining room Saturday evening costs $16. Sunday breakfast will be $9.  Sack lunches will be available.

Please call Boulder Hot Springs at 406-225-4339 to reserve your room and meals by March 15. After that date, rooms will be available first-come, first-served. When you call, tell the reservation staff you're with the MAUUA group. For more information, please contact Laura Behenna at 257-2116

· your hymnals
· a chalice (one will do)
· some writing easels with paper pads & markers (about 4 easels for the whole group - does each fellowship have one set they could bring?)  Please send me an email at <hillhiker2020mt@yahoo.com> to tell me how many easels and pads your fellowship will bring.
· Clothing for cool weather
· Personal care items
· Snacks

11:15  MAUUA business meeting
12:00  Clean up and farewells

Saturday, April 5

12:30  Registration and getting settled
1:30   Whole group welcome and ingathering
2:00   1st roundtable discussion session
   Kids activities
4:00   2nd roundtable discussion session
    Kids activities
  Roundtable topics:  To be determined
Free time for hikes, swimming, and conversation
6:00  Dinner in BHS dining room
7:30  Evening singing and play time

Boulder Hot Springs is about a half-hour south of Helena off of Interstate 15. Below are driving directions from BHS' web page. You can view the web site and photos at: http://www.boulderhotsprings.com.


  • From Interstate 90 west bound, take the Boulder/Cardwell exit and follow Montana Highway 69 north about 30 miles toward Boulder.

  • From Interstate 90 east bound, change to Interstate 15 north at Butte.

  • From Interstate 15, north or south, take the Boulder exit and follow Highway 69 south through town. Boulder Hot Springs Bed & Breakfast is three miles south of Boulder on Highway 69. Watch for the sign.
